    Refund Policy

When you can get your money back on a MailerMonk subscription, how to request it, and how long it takes.

Heads up — this is a starting template. MailerMonk is pre-launch and these terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Treat this as a good-faith summary of how we operate, not as a finalized legal agreement. We will publish a reviewed version before charging customers and notify users when we do.
    § 01

    Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can get a refund for a paid MailerMonk subscription. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. MailerMonk is operated by Afsan, a sole proprietor based in Bangladesh ("we", "us", "MailerMonk").

    § 02

    Payments & merchant of record

Payments for MailerMonk are processed by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments. Dodo handles the checkout, charges your card, collects any applicable taxes, and processes approved refunds on our behalf. When we approve a refund, it is issued through Dodo back to your original payment method — we cannot send refunds by any other channel.

    § 03

    7-day money-back guarantee

If you are a first-time subscriber to a paid plan and you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. No reason is required. This guarantee applies once per customer and covers your first paid billing period only.

    § 04

    Subscriptions & renewals

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and renew automatically until you cancel.

    • You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
    • Outside the 7-day guarantee, renewal charges and partial (unused) portions of a billing period are generally non-refundable.
    • If you were charged for a renewal you clearly intended to cancel, contact us within 7 days of that charge and we will review it in good faith.
    § 05

    What is not refundable

The following are not eligible for a refund except where required by law:

    • Charges older than the applicable request window above.
    • Usage-based or metered consumption that has already been delivered (for example, outreach emails already sent on your behalf).
    • Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use policy.
    • Free plans and free tools, which carry no charge.
    § 06

    How to request a refund

Email connect@mailermonk.com from the address on your account with:

    • The email associated with your MailerMonk account.
    • The approximate date and amount of the charge.
    • A one-line note on the issue (optional within the guarantee window).

We aim to respond within 2 business days. You may also see the charge and request help directly through the Dodo Payments receipt you received by email.

    § 07

    How long refunds take

Once approved, refunds are issued through Dodo Payments to your original payment method. It typically takes 5–10 business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any taxes collected at checkout are refunded together with the eligible amount.

    § 08

    Chargebacks

If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.

    § 09

    Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. For material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify active subscribers.
